Mr. Coffee ISX43 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, Stainless Steel

Doesn't Last Long
Works great at first, but becomes junk fast. Bought 2 at the same time (one for home and one for in our RV) and both are shot less than a year later even though we use filtered or bottled water in them. Randomly overflows and makes a huge mess on the counter and gets grounds in the caraffe. Moisture & steam from brewing causes the clock/timer to stop working after a few uses (steam rises and clock/timer is right above). Will not buy another one ever.

A real junker
We got this from the store and within a month it was having problems. It would sometimes work, sometimes not. It would spill over, get grains in the coffee, explode over the top etc. Even when we did the clean cycle it detailed in the manual, didn't help.

We weren't in the area of the store anymore so we just junked it and got a different one.

Makes coffee fine but beeps like fire alarm
Purchased this at discount to replace a quiet Mr. Coffee. This one works fine so far, but I am amazed at the loudless and obnoxiousness the 5 beeps at the end of the coffee making cycle. I compare it to a fire alarm, or at best a fire alarm low battery warning. 5 beeps is a bit much, especially if someone else in the home is sleeping. The 3 loud beeps at the end of the 2-hour sitting time are bad enough, but 5 beeps for a coffee maker? Come on. You can set the strength of coffee to strong, you can set timers, but you can't stop the unnecessarily loud beeping. These beeps are so obnoxious that I plan to replace the unit with a quiet coffee maker.

Also, the carafe plate is recessed quite a bit, which makes taking the carafe off the unit a bit of a struggle at times, which I can see will lead to spilling incidents. On the plus side, the top lid is spring loaded so it stays up when you want it to.
